Storage is a fee applied to accounts that hold open positions overnight on Forex, Spot Precious Metals, Shares, and Spot Indices that are not subject to rollovers/swaps.
Unlike swaps, Storage is always a negative amount and is not affected by whether your position is a buy or sell. It is charged daily on all open positions, with positions held overnight on Fridays incurring a 3‑day charge to account for the weekend.
The Storage charge is calculated as:
Storage value × Total number of lots (buy and sell, per instrument)
Charges are converted into your account’s base currency.
Storage fees are updated regularly without prior notice and apply to all open positions, even if they are partially or fully hedged. The Company may also change the charging period without prior notice.
